Amy specializes in holistic financial planning and environmentally and socially responsible investment management. She recognizes the importance her clients place on doing well while also doing good in the world. To that end, she helps her clients achieve their financial goals while ensuring that their investments reflect their values and aspirations.
Before joining First Affirmative, Amy held the Series 7 General Securities Representative and Series 66 Securities Agent and Investment Advisor Representative licenses, and she currently holds a New York State insurance license.
Amy also specializes in working with families of children and adults with special needs. During her tenure with Merrill Lynch, she earned their Certified Special Needs Advisor designation.

Education and Experience
Amy has a background in the arts and holds a Doctorate in music from the University of Cincinnati's esteemed College-Conservatory of Music. After working in non-profit management and philanthropy for 15 years, she transitioned into the financial services industry and served for nearly three years as a successful financial advisor with Merrill Lynch. In 2013, she made the decision to focus exclusively on sustainable and responsible investment strategies, and she joined the First Affirmative team. She is currently working to obtain the Certified Financial Planner designation.
As an active member of her community, Amy currently serves on the Board of Directors for two area non-profit organizations that provide arts education and pathways to college and careers for under-served children. She also sings with the Hudson Valley-based professional ensemble Kairos: A Consort of Singers. In addition, she is a member of the American Association of University Women and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She is also an advocate for children with language-based learning disabilities and is active in her local chapter of the International Dyslexia Association.
Amy lives in Hopewell Junction, NY with her husband, Terry, and their two children, Katie and Matt. She has offices in the Hudson Valley and in New York City.
