Education and Experience:

Laura discovered a passion for finance at an early age when her high school’s monetary policy club had the opportunity to present to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She went on to study and major in Economics in tandem with Environmental Studies. Laura graduated cum laude from Colgate University and holds a certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Laura has held positions with Standard & Poor’s and UBS Wealth Management on Wall Street, and with Jackson National in Denver. She has earned her Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) and Certified Fund Specialist (CFS®) designations. She has previously held her Series 7 and 66 licenses.

Community Involvement:

Laura is a passionate and active member of the Colorado community working closely with leaders in the B Corp movement and the non-profit sector to advance sustainability and inclusion on all fronts.

Laura serves on the board of B Corp Colorado and is a Young Professional Board Member of the Nature Conservancy. Her time also supports Environmental Learning for Kids, Mi Casa Resource Center, Small Business Majority, CO350.org, Cottonwood Institute, Denver B Cycle, Anti-Oppression Resource & Training Alliance, Huntington’s Disease, and various start-up weeks throughout Colorado. She is always looking for the next great cause to work with you on.

Personal Message:

Laura resides in Denver where she takes full advantage of Colorado’s sunshine with her dog, Zion. Be it backcountry skiing, trail running, gardening, and relaxing outside with a good book, although currently it is CFP Candidate related studies.
