Certified Financial Planner™ Practitioner, Accredited Investment Fiduciary™
The Impact Investors
As someone deeply committed to social justice, progressive politics, and sustainability, I help clients develop clear, coherent financial strategies that incorporate their social and political values every step of the way. I partner with individuals, small businesses, and non-profit organizations to make money and finance accessible and understandable.
I offer a complimentary introductory call or video meeting we can learn more about one another. The primary goal is to share and understand your goals and social values, and to review what financial planning and investment management can do for you. We'll have an honest discussion of what SRI is and isn't, and then outline a plan to move forward together.
We may partner on one or many of a broad array of topics, question and issues, from the basics of investing and asset allocation to more holistic investment and financial plan development. Services may include:
Annual financial plan (paid monthly)
$500 setup + $150/mo to $400/mo (depending on income)
Project-based financial planning
$250/hour, 4-10 hrs typical
Limited scope financial planning (your 1-2 high priority issues)
$750-$1250 flat fee
Investment management services
Generally 1.2% or less per year for our services
When comparing investment management fees, we would do a transparent, apples-to-apples, all-in cost comparison that includes but isn't limited to our fee.
One-time setup fee: $500 to $2000
Annual flat fee: $500 to $10,000
Asset-based fee: 0.20% to 0.75% annually
Investments and finance are constantly evolving. Participating in the myriad networks committed to socially responsible and sustainable investing is one way that I keep my skills and knowledge fresh.
I have volunteered with and financially support a variety of progressive organizations and campaigns in the Bay Area focused on immigrant rights, economic and racial justice, environmental sustainability, and workers rights. I believe strongly in economic, racial and environmental justice, which are at the forefront of efforts to create a sustainable and just world where people matter as much as profits do.
I enjoy reading non-fiction, strength training, music (downtempo, reggae, hip hop, rock), and messing with computers and phones to make them do what I want. Also trying to make sure I parent with curiosity and in solidarity.
